Not sure what to say?

My older brother Fernando Suárez from Mexico City, was a very close friend of Tommy’s at Georgetown. My brother passed away in 1972. I have great memories of Tommy from that time. I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Alfredo Suárez.

Words do not seem good enough for this temporary fairwell. I truly cherish my memories that were touched by the life of Tom. They have become even more vivid with this shock.

It is nearly impossible to believe this awful news. I knew Tommy through Mohammad. Moh is my friend. Tommy was Moh's man Friday. He had great judgment, clever wit, and was a great friend. My deepest sympathies.

Laura & family,

I just learned of Tom's passing upon our return to Houston from travelling. While I only knew Tom for a short time, he made me feel like a life-long friend. He had a magnetic personality and I enjoyed working with him and our periodic lunches. I really admired his pride, love and affection for you and his family and witnessed his love of family as guests at your ranch, the polo grounds, or an occasional ball game.

Tom would never let a lunch or conversation...

Laura: I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss. May peace find you and your family during these troubling times.

Dear Laura and family,

I was so shocked to hear about our unconsolable loss. I was told by someone close to me about Tommys passing. I want you to know that it is also a very deep loss for me too, because I was very close to all of his family, have love and respect for all of you. Please take my condolances to your heart, because you have been in mine. Such a great loss!

So sorry to hear about Tommy's passing - one of thirty of our fellow St Joseph's high school classmates in Laredo. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Kara and I are so sorry to hear of your loss, we have been thinking of you and your family, since we heard the sad news.

“Let no one weep for me, or celebrate my funeral with mourning; for I still live, as I pass to and fro through the mouths of men” - Quintus Ennius

Laura, It's been too long. I'm so sorry for your loss. A great loss to all who knew Tom's generosity. He gave me a few of my best memories in Texas and I will always regret not seeing more of him. I will always remember him on a bird hunt with a huge smile, a beer in hand and some dove on the horizon. He loved to laugh, so we did that quite a bit.
