Tom possessed many wonderful and engaging attributes, which included an outgoing personality, creative mind, compassionate spirit, helpful soul, but above all, he was a true and loyal friend to many.

Not sure what to say?

Dear Betsy and All the Mulcahy family,

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I grew up down the alley from Tom and had the opportunity to go through school with him. Tom was a joy to be around. I had not seen him very often since we graduated in 1971 but, when I did see him he always had a smile on his face and a friendly hello. He was a wonderful person and had a beautiful spirit. He will truly be missed by everyone. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Brothers & Sisters of Tom:

Thank you all so much for your outpouring of love for Tom, Betsy, and the rest of our family, in which you are included, throughout his illness and now.

His illness and death was a wonderful gift which he accepted and offered to God our Father on our behalf and his. Just a few months ago, asked if he had asked God to be cured he said, “I think I have, but if I haven’t, ‘Dear God, I know you do all things for Your greater good, which is...

To the Mulcahy Family,

I read Tom's obituary, online.
Please accept my condolence on your loss.

God Bless You All.

Mike Burden

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Betsy. We knew Tom as a loving, kind and often humorous neighbor on South Shore Drive. I will remeber his ice candles dropped on our doorstep and his patience with the children while he worked on the cabin. He taught our son how to hammer a nail and always had time for a swim! He will be greatly missed.God bless.

Dear Betsy and your entire families
Tom will be missed by many. I grew up down the street from the Mulcahy family and remember Tom from my childhood. He was one of the "good ones" He was a little younger but I do remember his smile and treasure the times around the Mulcahy home. Like a second home for many, I am sure. You and your families are in the prayers of many. May time ease the pain of your loss.

Tommy, you were the pick of the litter. I know your next job was to get the rest of us to heaven. No matter the challenge in my case, don't give up. We miss you terribly. See you soon.

Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I picture his smile and friendly energy as a teenager, and they are deeply pleasing to recall. Warmest wishes to the family.

Dear Betsy, Sleders and Mulcahys:
I am so sorry for your loss. We McChrystals and Mulcahys seem to parallel each other's losses as we progress through this magical mystery tour called life. I felt Tom's presence filled with joy at the rosary and funeral last week, as the Mulcahys and Sleders and Glynns and Deerings and Kohlers and Kramers (and on and on...) took time out of our busy lives to hug each other and acknowledge our life-long connection through long ago school days. I know that...
