Thomas Edward Murphy

Several years ago, I completed an internship with the LaGrange Police Department as a Criminal Psychology student at the University of Louisville. I remember everyone telling me that Tom was a quiet man who didn't talk much, and all I said was, 'well, he'll talk to me'. And sure enough, he did. We talked about the Thanksgiving turkey fry the department was having for the officers, and all I could do was laugh at the story of Tom holding on to those turkeys and hoping they didn't slip out...
