Not sure what to say?

Chief you were, and still are an inspiration not only on the job but in life. I think of you often on how you took care of the city and your officers. We were all so fortunate to have you guiding us through the best of times, and most of all through the worst of times. I will treasure our friendship and the many conversations we had through all the years. I know God has you in heaven doing his work flawlessly

My interaction with Tom was always a pleasure. Being with Metroparks, we were always at Garfield PD when we took over the park. Tom was always welcoming and willing to help us. My favorite memory of Tom was when I took my aunt the nun to Marymount hospital to see my mother. We ran into Tom coming out. I never saw a man stand up so straight, so fast. Turns out my aunt taught him at St.Tim's. She said he was a very good boy.

Tom was a wonderful man -- loving husband + father + outstanding Chief of Police in Garfield Hts. for many years. He was a great neighbor, too, when we lived next door in Garfield Hts. We have many happy memories of those days. Tom will be sorely missed by so many. God Bless his wife Pat + his family. Joyce Adams
