Melissa, I met you in the parking lot today and was overwhelmed by your pain. (I was a substitute teacher at COHS today). I am so profoundly sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Tom personally, I have friends who did know him and expressed how much of a great & sweet person Tom was. Tom, his parents, and family have been in my prayers. May GOD give you strength to get through this very difficult time. May you cherish and hold onto all of the wonderful memories you have of your precious Tom.

The passing of your son Thomas touched a large segment of the Elk Grove community, including parents of the Cosumnes Oaks Jr. Wolfpack. His passing has reinforced the message that we all need to love our children, hold them while we can, give them a belief in God to see them through life, and to always be there for them.
