Thelma and Family,

Jeannie and I were saddened to hear of Tom's passing. Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss.

I did a lot of things with Tom during our college years at parties, outings, pickup basketball games, playing cards and seeing an occasional movie. I think some found it interesting', that we enjoyed playing bridge with the mothers of our friends. Jeannie and I remember Tom's great sense of humor and the sparkle in his eyes when he made a funny remark.

Dear Thelma and family,

Our sincere condolences for your loss. We remember Tom as a devoted father who led by example and always expressed encouragement and positivity. With the passing of time, we hope your sorrow will be replaced by the many beautiful and happy times you shared together.

May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing. Our deepest heartfelt sympathies,

Leni and Glenn Harding

Tom and I first met in high school at Franklin in Portland. It was there that we grew to be good friends. One of my last memories of Tom was attending the re-dedication of the school with Tom and others from the class of '64. He was passing along jokes as one way of keeping in touch. He will be missed greatly.
My deepest condolences to the family.

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Nakata's death. I worked with him at the VA in the last few years before his retirement; I still see some of his former patients and they remember him fondly, as do I. He was very generous and gracious in making time to discuss cases and consider treatment options. I valued the time I had to work with him.

Tom and I worked together for many years at Clackamas County Mental Health. He was a wonderfully kind and supportive colleague who contributed much to this world.
