To Theresa , Nancy, Bill, My most heartfelt condolences go out to you on Tommy's passing. I haven't seen Tommy in years but we had some good times together. He was a cadet just after my Dad Mush McCarthy died. He used to hear stories about my dad. He said he was a legend Springfield PD. We made each other laugh. Sully , Tommy & I. Eventually we will meet on this side or the other. Unfortunately it will have to be the other. Rest in peace brother !!!!!!! Your pal Big Mac

To my Friend Tommy,a good guy with a fun sense of humor, who was good at his job and living his life, exchanged many humorous times many years ago, between shift changes, which kept things light,in a job that was very serious,Rest In Peace my longtime friend.God Bless You.R.Restaino/retired SPD.

Tommy and I worked out together for multiple years at Century Fitness and also we were both members of St Cecilia´s Church. We talked about a lot of things but mostly about hockey and the Bruins. Pats too but Bruins were his favorite. I looked over the text messages we would exchange during and after Bruins games and he was always so positive and supportive where I I took the more negative approach. He got a buck kick out of our conversations and I considered him a dear friend. RIP Tommy. I...

So sorry to hear of Tommy´s passing. He was a great guy with an infectious smile, and it was always a pleasure to see him, both during his time at work and later after his retirement at the SHA. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May he rest in peace. God bless.

A great guy and even a better friend. Rest easy my friend.

It was an honor working with Tommy. A true friend and a great Police officer. My condolences to his family. Rip Tommy .

Our deepest condolences on Tommy´s passing. I was blessed to know him as a childhood and high school friend. He lived next door to my grandfather. His smile could always turn the day around. He always made time for people and made you feel heard.
