Not sure what to say?

May he rest in Peace.
Fr. Tom was a wonderful uncle.
He treated each and every one of us (all 20) as one of his own.
I already miss his yearly Christmas cards.........
You will be missed, even though I have not seen you in years...
Love ,
Mary Therese

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I was class president for four years at Manistee Catholic (69-72) and periodically met with Father Neis to discuss class activities. Privately, I found him to be a very nice man who genuinely seemed to have the best in mind for students. I remember his wonderful commitment to designing the senior class night convocation every year. What a creative man who was light years ahead of his time on various social and environmental issues.
May he rest in peace!

Fr. Neis pastored St. Francis Parish through the 1980's - formative years in my life. He and my father, Deacon John Moeggenberg, worked side-by-side throughout his tenure, and through this relationship I came to know Fr. Neis. His was a priesthood of Jesus as servant - a smiling servant who's Faith continually gave him strength. He truly lived in the Lord. I will forever draw from his example, and minister to those in need with his firm but gentle spirit. Undoubtedly, his reward in...

I taught under Father Neis at MCC in Manistee. What a terrific experience! It was great - the school spirit .... the striving for excellence .... the caring the staff and students felt for each other ... I have great memories of those years. How I praise God for Father Neis and the MCC supporters!

Rev. Fr. Neis performed our marriage ceremony when he was pastor at St. Francis, and he gave our boxer dog Matty the blessing of the pets when he was in Charlevoix in 2001. He will be missed, but we will see him again someday when we are with God also in the hereafter. Rest well with Christ, Fr. Neis.

I met Fr. Neis many years ago at St. Francis in TC. I was asked by him to be in charge of the music at the Sunday 10:30 Mass. He continually inspired and supported me along with the other numerous members of the 10:30 choir and expressed great pleasure and approval of our music selections. Because of Fr. Neis, we would always strive to do more than our best every Sunday. He was loved and admired more than he knew. He will be missed and thought of until we meet again someday.

Father Tom was loved by all the children at St Mary's School in Charlevoix. My son Parker and I will miss him dearly and are thankful for his funny loving kindness and wisdom which was instrumental in our conversion.
We will be praying for his holy soul and comfort for those who loved him especially Patty.

Fr. Neis was my superintendent at MCC.I learned a lot from him,as did everybody that went to MCC. May Fr. Neis be happy w/our Lord in heaven.Rest in peace good and faithful servant.I pray that God will bring comfort to Fr. Neis's family, knowing that Fr. Neis is with Him.
