Dear Nelson Family: I was deeply saddened to learn of Buddy's passing. Though I have not seen him for many years, we shared youth memories and "close" birthdays (mine was Sept. 19, 1956) My dad coached Buddy on the Bombers and I was a Bomberette! I have wonderful memories of Buddy's sweet smile and will never forget what a gentleman he was in junior high and high school. I feel blessed to have known him. My prayers go out to all of you.

Kathy and the entire Nelson family. I was sad to read about the loss of Buddy. I know all to well the loss of the first sibling of a large family. My heart and prayers go out to you all. I have not seen Buddy in over 25 years but I can still see his heart warming smile. Many blessings to you all.
