Tom and I were good friends from grade school through high school. His mom used to serve as our Cub Scout den mother. Spent several afternoons sledding down the Newlons' front yard, or playing pool upstairs. Big loss.

Tom was one of my best friends in junior high. I will always remember him coming early to a party I had to set up his stereo. He was a sweet guy. I wish I had been able to talk to him again after we grew older.
