What a great man. Haven't seen him in years. Still think of him. Loved fishing with him. Sorry to the family.

Condolences to the Nichols family. I was fortunate to have officiated a few basketball games with Tom and also officiated with Tom Jr. Tom was a great official and a really great guy.

Condolences to the Nichols family. Mr Nichols was our softball umpire and basket official while I was in high school at Swan Valley in Saginaw. He was always fair and fun to have at our games. He played baseball with my Father and that's how I was familiar with him. What a great man! They don't make them like him any more!

Mr. Nichols was one of the finest people I´ve known. As a person, a knothole baseball coach, father and husband. Just a GREAT person

Deepest sympathies to Doris, Tom, Pete, Kim and their families. I had known Tom since the early 50´s when he played baseball with my dad and in later years as we worked together at the city. Tom always had a smile and a kind word. He was such a fun guy to be around. Certainly he will be missed. RIP "Geeze"
