So sorry to hear about Tom.He walked quietly,but was a gentle giant and touched many lives in many ways.He encouraged me to become a juvenile probation officer(later chief/dir) and then a federal probation officer. I was honored that he not only gave me a reference,but also wise counsel.Go in the peace you gave others.

I got to know Tom through the WW II Museum. He was a wonderful man, patriot, and hero. I only learned of his death today (at the Museum) so I did not attend his funeral, but I will miss him. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
