You and I became so close... whether it was our bonding time as I cut your hair, watching tv after Mom went to bed (I will watch Marnie, again, in your honor), holding hands for hours as Mom was on the witness stand. 5 years. Goodness, when I see your age at death, I realize how young you were by today's standards. Thanks so much for making my job possible at the farm. Never would I have thought that working on a farm would be my career. I am also glad that your family became my family. The Larsons are wonderful and I am honored to call them my cousins. Thank you for making the blending possible. I'm glad you and mom are together, and I expect you probably encouraged her to "take off her mother's hat" . ...

Tom, I cannot believe it has been 4 years since your passing. Although the years have been hard, I am thankful Mom is by your side now.
I miss you and find myself wearing your tan hat a lot. :-)
