Not sure what to say?

I used to stop by the Sunoco quite often when I worked on that side of town and remember often chatting briefly with Tom. Rest in peace, Sir. My condolences to Mary, Jay and all of the family in your time of loss.

To Tom's family, I went to high school with Tom's for several years. Then hung out together with my first husband Lester. Tom was a great guy and he will be missed. Sue (Gillhespy) Hoffman Losinger

Tom, Heidi, Joe and families, our deepest sympathy on the passing of your father. May God surround you with His love and give you peace.

A very good friend to us all. Never heard him complain, never heard him say no to any of us who needed any sort of help, advice,or encouragement. Always an entertaining (" entertaining" does not do Tom justice) story or joke, sometimes political but very seldom politically correct. A one in a million true friend. May the horse power be with you forever Tom. DJ

Bought my first car from Tom when I was 16 years old. It was an extremely hot day and when I got home it was dripping some gasoline. Took it back and he explained that he had over filled the gas tank and it was just venting the fuel due to the heat. Always appreciated that full tank of gas! Guessing he knew I spent my last $600 on the car. What a great guy!

Tom taught me to drive a stick, a `53 chevy 2 door that was parked in the compound behind the station at age 14. I would ride the Kentwood school bus home with him then drive in circles til he finally gave me his blessing. Then i´d thumb a ride home to Meadowlane. Always had one of those "I got ya grins" on his face. Great guy to everyone rich or poor, cool or nerdy, didn´t matter to him ! JW

Mary...he truly was one of a kind! To you and the family - the pain is gone for him. Driving by the compound will always have so many memories! I will miss him. Keeping you all in prayer.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Tom. CARL and I, and our three children, had so many memories with the 1932 Model B Ford pickup we bought from Tom. We also were members of the Grand A´s and had many great times on tours and picnics Tom, you will be missed
