Tom was an important person in my life both professionally and personally. I joined him at the Washington Hospital Center 1 year after he was there. We shared a vision that Dermatology frequently was a window into systemic disease, and that training programs should reflect that. I owe him a great debt.

I was sorry to read of Dr.Nigra passing. He , his Sister, Mother and Father were our neighbors on Spring St. Latrobe. He would stop on his way home from St. Vincent and visit with my Dad Henry J. Mahady at our kitchen Table. His Father Al was a special lifetime friend of my Dad.

Condolences to the family. I was a close friend of Tom in prep school. We were probably the only 2 that did not smoke and did poorly in athletics. I lost track of Tom after graduation but am not surprised that he was a successful doctor.
