Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear about Dr. Nolan I have always admired his thoughtfulness and mild manner when he came in our store and he never seemed upset about anything. He will be missed but never forgotten. I send the Family my condolences and pray for comfort and peace for them.

We are sorry to hear of Tom's death. Our prayers and those of our entire Community are with him and the family. Sister Ellen was a dear, dear friend and we still miss her. We had a chance to meet Tom and Maureen when we lived just around the corner from them on Rumson Rd. And we still remember their hospitality and friendship when we visited their home. What a loving welcome he must have had from Ellen! Our love to all the family.

Every time I've seen "Nolan" in the
obituaries since @ 1983, I've wondered if it were Sr. Ellen's brother. This time I think it is. I came to the gathering following her funeral at the Nolan home. At the time I was Assistant Minister at Peachtree Christian Church. I was so grateful for this opportunity to meet some of Sr. Ellen's family. She was my first spiritual director and was very important to me the year I knew her. I am grateful for this lovely family and the many ways others...

Pat enjoyed Dr. Nolan as a colleague at SFH. Tom's pleasant ways, his surgical skills, and his unsurpassed integrity were a fine credit to the medical profession. We always treasured the Christmas Cards from Maureen and Tom. Our world was a better place because of them.

I was chosen by Dr. Nolan to be his secretary when he became the Medical Director at SFH. The two years I worked with him were wonderful. He treated women with the most respect and was a great boss. I shall treasure the gifts he and Maureen brought me from Europe on a trip they made while I was his secretary. We stayed in touch up until the last 3 or 4 years. He earned his place in heaven.

I will always remember Dr. Nolan with great fondness and the deepest respect. His unflagging professional support made my first years at South Fulton Hospital both productive and a great learning experience. His personal friendship and support stayed with me through the years. Although our contacts were minimal in recent years, I will miss him deeply.

My condolences to the Nolan family.I got to know Dr.Nolan during my years at SFH, and learned to respect and admire him for his expertise, knowledge and gentlemanly conduct at all times. He will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched in so many different ways.
