Not sure what to say?

I am leaving this entry for Earl's sister, Eileen - my friend of many, many years. I only met Earl as a "kid" when I met Eileen at St.Barnabas H.S. and know how much she loved her brother and how much she will miss him. Of course he had to be a kind and caring person for he was Eileen' brother.

I had the pleasure of hiring Tom and the mother of his two daughters, June Hoagland. They met at The Billboard in New York City, We have remained friends through these many wonderful years. It is strange that within a week of his death, June Bundy Csida, who also worked with us at The Billboard, also died..and in LA and of a similar malady.

Tommy was the personification of a warm and loving spirit. To have known him was was to have experienced a rare combination of enlightenment and entertainment, as he was both undeniably bright and indefatigably humorous.

An alumnus, as I am, of Cardinal Hayes H. S. in the Bronx, I loved his robust enthusiasm and his incessant desire to teach and offer advice. Although it was relatively brief, working with Tommy at Motown was a "bonus track" on my album of rewarding experiences in...

We would like to say how saddened we were to hear the news about Earls passing. We had the pleasure of his visit to Brantford,(Ont,Canada) once to visit my dad, his cousin Mel Dalton. It was a great visit and from time to time we would receive a letter from Earl and things he was up to. It was always a joy hearing from him. He was so unselfish and made us many offers to come out and visit and stay with him. Very very kind man he was. He will be missed and remembered fondly.

We were saddened to hear the news and wish to express our deepest sympathy to the family. Earl was a wonderful, thoughtful man and will be missed dearly - but his stories will live on! as he has left us with many great memories

I am sorry and saddened to hear of Earls passing. From so many stories he and I(Dot)shared this past summer during his visit to P.E.I.It was clear to me that there was not a kinder, more gentle and yet a person with such a great sense of humor, his visits enjoyable as well as caring and entertaining. I pray that your precious memories, loving family and friends bring you some comfort during these difficult days and days ahead as you carry Earl close to your heart. God Bless

It was with great sadness that I heard of the passing of my cousin Earl. He was one of the finest people I have ever met and leaves a lasting impression on my life. He opened his home to my husband and myself on two visits to LA. He would make us his famous fried bread and freshly squeezed orange each morning and then show us all over LA. His stories, ohh his stories would keep us laughing throughout our stay. We were able to have Earl to our home in PEI Canada on three occasions and his...

Tommy's gracious calls to me after the death of my wife, and his kind comping me on the alumni newsletter for some months were typical of his warm attitude towards me over many years. As a longtime peer I was shocked to learn of his death via the L.A. Times. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Fondly, Tony Richland
