Hi Monica,
I'm sorry to hear about the loss of both of your parents.
They were the most wonderful people I knew.
They both loved and thought the world of you!
There laughter and happiness will truly be missed.

It's funny what little things you remember about a person. One such memory of Tom for me, was early on in his career as a Section Head at TRW/NGST. His engineers had a problem they could not solve. He rolled up his sleeves and got down in the trenches with them and after much exhausted work they finally solved the problem.
Tom believed in the good life and lived it; thereby inspiring all of us to live it.

Sorry to read of the passing of Tom Nosek. I met Tom in the late 60's through our mutual interest in sailing Tornado Caramarans. He was a great sailor and competitor spanning several decades sailing multihulls out of CBYC. He had many Tornado and sailing friends such as Roger Jewett, Art Newman, Bruce Stewart, Cliff Hauser and many others. RIP Tom and we'll see you on the other side.

Tom was a great citizen of Torrance. I especially remember his great service to Torrance as a member of the Torrance Airport Commission. The Commission dealt with some very difficult issues and he dealt with the issues is a very patient and balanced manner.
