Not sure what to say?

Eulogy for Thomas O’Carroll given at the mass on September 13th:

This is indeed a sad day for all of us. We have lost a cherished family member and friend. I think sharing our grief will help ease our burdens. So, after I read my brother’s thoughts, please feel free to share your own experiences about Tom from where you are seated.

Sean writes:

Thomas may have meant something to each and everyone of you. To me, he was the brother I never had growing up. ...

There is no one nor will there ever be anyone like Tom...My love and prayers are with you all.

Our deepest sympathy. Thoughts and prayers remain with you

Bob and Marion Ames

To Beta,Dennis and Family,

Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. There is no way anyone understands a death of a child any better than one who has lost one.

We will keep you in our prayers and if you need someone to talk to we will be there for you.

Like our grandson says about his Dad,"Daddy is not dead we carry him in our hearts". We also carry the people who mourn in our hearts.

Please keep in touch Love You Barb and Dave

In the early 1990's our family visited Ireland and stopped in to Beta and Denny. From there we went to Tom's pub ( O'Carrolls Cove Beach Bar, I think) for an intended short stop. Thomas wouldn't hear of it. My brothers and sister still talk about that night. It was great craic.

Our children attend Blessed Sacrament School and school has just restarted. While walking the boys into school this week I think about when Thomas walked these same halls and how much he will be...

It's been many years since we had contact with you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time of sadness. Pat&Dick Neer
