I am an alumni of Kenwood High School and remember Tom well and with fondness. He and I were close alphabetically so we sat together in many classes. I recall his wry sense of humor and intelligence. It is with no surprise that I read of his heroism. I am very sorry to read of his passng and know that he was wll loved and greatly respected.
