Tom was a great guy and a terrific advocate for teachers. During my first term as President, he gave me much needed helpful advice and it continued through the years. We shared many trials and tribulations together, as well as many laughs at the various conventions. My sister was teaching in Anne Arundel and I suggested to...

Tom was a great friend. I remember many, many laughs at the teacher's conventions, meetings and workshops. He always loved referring to my sister and I as "the Viking Queens" - made him laugh every time! I will miss him and his caring nature. RIP Tom....

You'll certainly be missed, Big T. Thanks for being a real one.

Tom was a good friend and cohort during our teaching days. We served on the TAAAC Board of Directors when Tom was the president. We also went to numerous teachers' conventions with him. Not only was Tom a good friend, but he was also a wonderful union president who always looked out for the classroom teacher. We will miss him.

Tom was a good friend, a Theta Xi fraternity brother, and a patriotic American. He loved his family and his Country. He was one of a kind and will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.
