Not sure what to say?

Dad, you "picked" a "genuinely" wonderful Uncle for all of us. Tommy brought into our lives; late night donut visits, sacks of holiday candy, Greek so-good delicacies, baby chicks, all our wedding photos, growing-up advise, photography how-tos, . . . . the things that were special to the Kirby Kids and their own young ones.

Thank you for all the wonderful memories.

We miss you.

May God Hold You in the
Palm of His Hand ~
Kathy, Larry, Brandon,

What an amazing person. While it had been a bit since we were last in touch, I often thought of him as I am sure he did me and everyone else who was a part of his everyday “rounds” at one point. From the traditional photography skills he taught us and the digital world we taught him, to the tootsie rolls and candies out of a pocket similar to Mary Poppins purse, his visits were always a high point in everyone’s day. You will be missed, Mr. Papanagiotou. (I can hear him now, “Call me Tom!”)

My friend. Glad i got to share so much time with you.I will forever keep you in my heart..Root beer barrels!

Tom, we had a special connection and I always looked forward to seeing you stroll into my workplace. You were such a sweetheart and provided numerous laughs. I miss you greatly and not a day went by that I didn't think about you while you were in the hospital. I know you're okay where you are; I love you Tom! Every time I see a tootsie roll I will always remember you.

Tommy was my Father and my friend. He was the best person I ever knew.
I met him so long ago and we were the best of friends instantly. He was the kindest man, so full of love and kindness.
I will always remember the gifts he brought from the trunk of his car.
He helped me open 2 of my studios. He would help with painting and just anything I needed. I cannot say in words all that this man was to me and so many other people.
He was a very wealthy man...

Tommy You are Forever Loved!

Uncle Tom was always there. He was a "brother" to my father, Ken, and an integral part of the Kirby family. The adventures and the stories; the advice and the insight he shared with my family make reflections on the past fifty years of my life only complete with the memory of his presence. I now know that he and dad can, once again, sit down at heaven's kitchen table and "solve the world's problems!" The image puts a smile on my face.

Zoe, the Pappas nieces and nephews--and...

When I was a teenager working in a photography department I met Tom. He immediately took me under his wing and taught me not just about photography but about life. He was a great, gentle, caring man. He came to my wedding 17 years ago and we unfortunately lost touch after that. I have often wondered about him and wished that life and its hurdles hadn't gotten in the way of our friendship. My heart goes out to his family. I will always remember him with a smile on my face.

You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
