Not sure what to say?

While I know was was never the best student Mr. Peck was my favorite teacher of all time. I was alway out for a laugh during class or while on a band trip whether we were at camp or touring anew York he was always the best person to be around. To say that he inspired 100´s would be an understatement. Everyone he came in contact with had then continued to influence 100´s-1000´s in their paths. This is long overdue but something payed on my heart this evening from Colorado! God blessed everyone...

To the Peck family, prayers and hugs for your loss. You must be so proud of the legacy this man has left. He was admired and respected by all who knew him. What an impact he had on the lives of so many young people!

I was one of the fortunate band students at Portland Jr High in Bloomington, MN who was in 9th grade when Tom Peck arrived there. And we were absolutely blessed to have him "graduate" with our class to JF Kennedy High School the following year. Tom had an incredible influence on my life because he brought so much life, energy and positivity to class and our lives. Tom was always creative, looking for new ways to keep us engaged, tirelessly supported us and went to bat for us so many times to...

Mr. Peck was a life-changing-kind-of-guy. He captivated our large classroom (then an even larger one as he grew it), with his quiet tone and pleasant voice that told stories we were all skeptical of but knew it had to be true (if it came out of Mr. Peck's mouth). A whole farm of hypnotized chickens? I've told my own children this story and guess what they do? They hypnotize our chickens. It's been fun having this memory of Mr. Peck live on. We all (BCHS students), adapted phrases like...

This man - Tom, was such a kind, gentle, funny, creative, and. clever, did I say funny man. I had the privilege of sharing an office with him. He would prank me and we would laugh. We would talk and talk about life and faith and maybe at times work. God made our paths cross for a moment on this globe but I know we will have eternity together because of our love of Jesus. I´ll fly away ...

Living Spirit Dishgarden

So sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Peck as a band teacher! He was a great teacher! And such a kind soul

Mr. Peck was the gentlest teacher I have ever known. I remember his smile and kind voice from 6th and 7th grade at Byron Center. My friends and I still talk about how great he was. Thinking of his family

As my friend Amanda said, "Thomas Peck was an exceptional soul and we knew it at the age of twelve." Mr. Peck was my band teacher in middle school and 9th grade. Music has been such an important part of my life, and I am so grateful for his presence during those formative years for me. I remember his jokes and his stories, but more so his gentleness, his patience, his calmness and his understanding. Even as adolescents, we could see he was a man who lives with integrity. I have not seen...
