Thomas E. Pennix

Thomas E. Pennix, 66, of Appomattox, departed this life Dec. 7, 2010, at Lynchburg General Hospital.He was born on July 10, 1944, to the late Claude R. Sr. and Sallie V. Pennix. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Left to cherish his memory are five brothers four sisters, other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at the Jordan BaptistChurch, Appomattox. Interment will be in the church cemetery. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. The family is receiving friends and the cortege will assemble at 11331 Stonewall Road., Appomattox.
