Not sure what to say?

I just read about Tom's death in the Penn State Alumni magazine. I went to school with Tom at Penn State, and I very much enjoyed his friendship. We were both in Army ROTC. I lost contact with him after we graduated but did stop by to see him once while he was working at Blue Cross. My heartfelt sympathies to his family.

To Tom's family: a memory from Penn State. He loaned me "The Godfather" to read in 1969 perhaps? We had lots of good discussions. I am sorry to read about your loss. I remember him as a kind boy. Nancy Schleihauf Ferguson

Dear Mickey,
I am so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I knew he was very ill, but I was hoping and praying for his recovery. I have fond memories of working with Tom in Medicare Staff Services; playing on the Blue Shield softball team; the bowling league; and the tennis league. I also golfed in several outings with Tom. I have fond memories of spending time with you and Tom at many social events; and even coming to your house for diner where I brought my Hawaiian Wedding...

Dear Mickey,

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I remember back to more than 40 years ago when I met you and Tom when we were all working at Pennsylvania Blue Shield. And you and I shared becoming mothers for the first time....me, with Alicia in 1977, then your Leann in 1978, and my Lauren in 1979. Tom was always a gentleman, and I remember him with his quick wit and a smile. He was a good man. Please know my heart shares your pain and that of Leann as well. My deepest sympathy to...

I worked with Tom when he was in Medicare Staff Services at Pa Blue Shield. We spent quite a bit of time on the road when working on the Medicare Replacement project. He was always focused on his job and always a pleasure to work with.

You have my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mickey,
I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to you and your daughter. May God surround you and grant you strength, hope and peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mickey and Leann I am so sorry for your loss. I started at Pa Blue Shield working under Tom. He was the best boss and mentor I ever had. He was fun, supportive, bright, caring, encouraging and dedicated to his people as well as his work. We all thrived under his leadership. I feel blessed to have worked with him.

May fond memories bring you comfort and peace now and always. With heartfelt sympathy. Pam

Tom was a very dedicated member of our soccer organization and I enjoyed his spirit and enthusiasm for the game and our social activities. Sorry for your loss Mickey. He will be missed.

Dear Mickey,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Fondly,
Shirley
