Not sure what to say?

Rick & Sharon Barry donated in memory of Thomas Perrelli for NAMI. "Dear Allison & Tommy, Our hearts are with you as you endure this sadness. It is cold now, but we hope that you can look toward the sun and find warmth. Your son will always be in your very own personal heaven to give you strength. It seems that the only help that we can give right now is a contribution to NAMI for their important work. Know that we love you, Sharon and Rick" -Rick & Sharon Barry

I was a friend of Tom's at UNC. One time Emily, Tom, and I were at a home game I think we were sitting in the student section. I wish I could remember who we were playing. We spotted an entire empty row of Courtside seats. I said something along the lines of "Aw how cool would it be to sit down there?" And Tom was like "Why not? They're empty!" So we went down and sat Courtside for about 5 minutes before we were scolded and sent back to the student section. It was fun. He was a good friend.

Tom was my friend at UNC. Although we lost touch, one of my all-time favorite memories of college was when we were playing basketball late at night, just the two of us, outside on campus, talking and goofing around. It started snowing. It was so magical and special. I loved Tom very much.

I spoke with him during his stay at Dover Behavioral ... He was a very thoughtful and soft-spoken person. I'm glad I knew him.

Our memories of Thomas are of smiles & laughter. We most often saw each other during family celebrations & vacations. He will forever be the young man who was so kind with his cousins and greeted us with a big smile. He had endless patience at the beach, showing the boys how to boogie board, catch sand crabs & dig moat holes around castles. He would shoot baskets in the driveway & play lacrosse in the yard, always helping them work on technique & accuracy. We would have deep conversations...

Tom was one of the best friends I had at Hendricken, and hearing of his passing is heartbreaking. Those of us lucky enough to know him will always remember him as a fun-loving, loyal friend. The Perrelli household felt like a second home to my friends and I, and Tom was a staple in all of ours. My parents laugh to this day about the many times they came home to find Tom hanging out on our couch before I was even home. It was always a welcome surprise. I wish it had stayed that way. I have...

Sitting out looking at the lake and I remember once in Rowe Thomas swam all the way across the lake with me. He was a brave young boy. Greg is about to get on a jet ski w. John. Last time he was on a jet ski was with Thomas in Newport.

Thomas used to come all the way from RI to NJ just to see my infant triplets and in particular Joey, when he was about 14 years old. He would constantly hold, play with, burp and feed my triplets. He would do these visits on weekends when my parents would visit as an extra visitor to my house. When it was time to leave, he would sit in my parents backseat and hold young Joey, not wanting to leave yet, Thank You Thomas for those cherished loving memories and we will always love you back!!
