Thomas passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016. Thomas was a resident of Conover, North Carolina at the time of his passing. Thomas was a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War. He was married to Joyce. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 10th 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Markâs Lutheran Church in Claremont with Rev. Gary Haddock officiating.Burial will follow in St. Markâs Lutheran Church Cemetery in Claremont with military honors by American Legion Post 16 of Newton.The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:45-2:45 p.m. at St. Markâs Family Life Center prior to the service. Memorials may be made to St. Markâs Lutheran Church Preschool.
