Not sure what to say?

We are shocked and so sad with the news of Tom´s passing. To have known him was indeed a treat. And he was so wonderful to work with- always helpful and patient. We send sympathy and much LOVE.

What a beautiful life he lived. I see the inspiration of some of his passions in the life of my dear friend Sally. I am so sorry I never had a chance to meet her dad. I am glad he was a part of humanity for 90 years nourishing his family and interests with passion and support.

I will always remember so many fond memories of and at your home in Winnetka while in high school. Sally and Betsy, your father always had a joke and a smile as your parents whisked out to (what I thought) was some wonderfully fancy event. I hope you can support each other through this difficult time. Hugs to you all!

Dearest Sue,

We were so sad to read about Tom in the Tribune. He was a lovely man with a delightful sense of humor and a talent for making people feel special. We so enjoyed reconnecting with the two of you through the Gross family history dinner at Coco Pazzo Cafe a few years ago and the subsequent dinner with just the four of us later on.

You two and your mother were very special to Elaine and Jerry which made our reconnection even more special.
