I am so sad to hear that Tom has passed away. I met him when I stayed in Austin for 6 months in 1988. Tom made a big impression on me and I still remember his fantastic stories and wonderful turns of phrase, some of which I still use to this day. We lost touch in the 1990s, and I was never able to reconnect with him, sadly. My very best wishes and condolences to all Tom's family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom while he was at Metro for his treatment. He was one of the most interesting people I have ever met. Tom had wonderful stories to tell and always had a smile on his face no matter how terrible he felt. He talked about his family a lot and I could see how much he loved all of you, as well as those who have passed before him. I am happy for Tom that he will not be suffering anymore and that he can finally be reunited with those who loved him here on earth....

On behalf of the Jankowski Family please accept our condolences. I remember the summer picnics with all the cousins and Father Arthur. The play I was in with Tommy at Chanel, and all the fun we had. Even though we have not kept in touch I have fond memories of our extended family. God Bless you all, know you are in our thoughts and prayers. He's gone home to be with your parents. I am sure he will visit my Dad as I know my Dad has his own bakery and coffee shop in heaven.

May you be safely home in heaven, no more pain, no more suffering, no more hurting. I'm sure you greeted by the angels and saints, and Mom and Dad. May you be surrounded by all who loved you, and may God grant you eternal peace, eternal rest, eternal happiness. Job well done my servant, time now to rest. P.S. Please give my dad a huge hug for me.
