Not sure what to say?

To Toms family,
I am so sorry that this took so long for me to write I just got back in country and going through my e-mails I found the note that Tom had passed I wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss, I am glad to say that I had the chance to see Tom at our reunion, and to talk to him for a while. He was one of a kind, and will be missed by all that knew him. But he is in a better place with the sun in his face the wind at his back, and the Lord at his side. I wish you all well.

My husband and I met Tom when he came to work at the Boyhaven scout camp in Middle Grove. We became close friends and he was like an "uncle" to my children. What an incredible friend; he listened, he inspired and he made us laugh until it hurt.
I cannot believe I will never hear his voice again or the "skit" that he would launch into when I picked up the phone and he heard my voice.
Our condolences go out not only to his family but also to the friends who will miss this man who...

The Bricktown All-Stars of 77
The cheers for the Bricktown All-Stars,
Let's bring them honor and laud.
Someday they'll write a book on them,

First were the Mayer Brothers,
Brian, Gregg, and Gary,
Who bore resemblance to the stooges, Moe, Shemp, and Larry.
Brian never shut his mouth,
Gregg never talked at all,
And trying to talk to Gary Mayer
Was like trying to talk to the wall.
And Albie Huhn, whose...

Tom - I did not have the pleasure of meeting you in high school, but I did have the good fortune to spend many afternoons sharing conversations and enjoying your poetry at Ocean County College. Your unmistakable laugh and beautiful talent with words will stay with me always. God Bless you

Tommy
I know you are where you want to be. I will miss you but I have to look beyond and realize that you really have never left. You are more with us then ever and I will always remember your laugh, your smile, and most of all your sincerity. My god you have such a genuine way about you. You gave of your heart and your love for others was unconditional! Your poems, your advice, your friendship, your sense of humor all brought out the best in us. You were a teacher. I strongly believe...

When you signed my yearbook in 78 you gave me advice at that time I thought was crazy. You said, move with your family to Florida and don't worry everything will turn out great. You were right. I spent several years there and also met my wife. You were always able to see things in a way that other people couldn't. Thank You Tom and God Bless You. We will all meet up again.
