Not sure what to say?

Wow, I heard about Tom's death through my brother Andy back in August. While I did not know Tommy on a personal level, I knew of him and his incredible spirit through the countless hours spent watching Tom and my brother play hockey as a little girl at the outdoor rink at Northwestern (burrr cold) and in later years definately remember the hockey celebration party at our house when the guys won their championship. I also played volleyball and softball with Tom's younger sister Ellen. To the...

To Tom's family,

My parents and I had a tradition. Every time we visited South Haven, we had to eat at Pigozzi's and make sure we got to chat with Tom. My parents met Tom the first time when my Dad ordered a "Chicken George" sandwich, and it came without chicken. Tom said "What kind of sandwich is that?". The friendship started there. We remember Tom as sincere, jolly, smiling and a super pleasant guy. We quickly became attached to him. This year we had plans to see him in July, and...

We enjoyed many wonderful weekends at the North Beach Inn with Tom, who was a terrific host. Our sympathies to his family.

I remember Tom well from Nichols school where I was lucky to be the Evanston Police officer assigned there many many years ago. Tom was a neat kid with a great smile and personality. When I read his obituary the memory that immediately flashed into my mind for some reason was of talking with Tom on the second floor of Nichols one day probably back in 1968 or 69. Our sincere condolences to all the Pigozzi family.

I worked at the Inn the summer of 1992. I remember Tom's enthusiasm and passion for his work. He was a such a wonderful man and teacher. My deepest sympathy to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with Denise and children.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Pigozzi Family. Tom’s simile was always contagious and will missed by us all.

We'll miss you, Tom - you and your wonderful food, and your joyful demeanor!

Dear Pigozzi Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you. What a terrible loss. While I was friends with Ellen, I have great memories of the boys too... I remember Tom on Friday night skate-nights at Northwestern, when the guards had to chase him, to get him off the ice....he was amazing, and I was in awe of how fast and slick he was.
God bless and comfort you at this time, and may your memories bring you peace.

Dear Pigozzi Family,

We are all saddened by the loss of Tom. We stayed at the North Beach Inn for many years up until it's end and Tom was always so gracious to my wife and myself. When I would always call to book our stay around March, it was always so good to hear him answer the phone and catch up with me since our last stay. Many times we would talk for an hour or two. This was the first year we could not stay at the North Beach Inn. On our way up last week, we happened to catch...
