Tom and I worked together as world navy analysts in the late 1980s. We were a small group, and sometimes we'd all go out getting together for lunch or get together on a weekend. Tom brought his guitar to one get-together, and I discovered that he had a beautiful voice (I described his guitar playing and singing as "James Taylor-esque"). Will never forget the time when tornado warning issued at Indy 500 and Tom insisted on leaving and before you got half was back to Greenwood the race restarted and you ended up at Sneiders watching on Tv. Lot more to story.
