Thomas J. Powers Sr., age 73, late of New Lenox, formerly of South Holland, beloved husband and best friend for 43 years of Marianne F., nee Wagner, Powers; loving father of Thomas J. Jr. (Jill R.), Timothy P. (Kimberly R.) and Kellie Ann Powers; proud "grandad" of Sydney, Samantha, Logan, Joshua and Ryan Powers; fond brother of John R. "Jack" (the late Jane), Rance "Buck" (Wilma) and the late Mary Jane Farley and the late Donald Powers; dearest uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired teacher and coach for 38 years with the Chicago Board of Education.
