Not sure what to say?

Mr. Poynton was my teacher. He was a great man and i remember that no matter the day he always told me "today is a beautiful day". He will be deeply missed. My senior class has dedicated our yearbook to him and a few other teachers that we have lost over the years. I send my blessings to the family.

The Krchnavi Family

To the Poynton family: We were so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Tom. We didn't know him, but feel so much for your family now. Ours sons (Tom Class of 1999 & Steve Class of 2001) graduated from Palisades High School & we hold a special place in our hearts for that school. We also live nearby from Williams Township in Durham Township. You are in our thoughts and prayers every day and we have also placed the family & friends of Tom on our church's Prayer List. I hope that the friendships you've forged - many because of the strong relationships...

It was such a shock to learn of Tommy's passing. I always enjoyed watching him compete, but more important, I remember him as a terrific young gentleman. It came as no surprise to me when I came to know Jenna a little bit, that she is very much the same way.

I hope that the strong friendships you've forged - many because of the kind of kids you've raised - will help you through this difficult time.

It's not every young man who can touch...
