Not sure what to say?

We so often miss opportunities to express gratitude to spiritual influences in our lives. I had the opportunity to attend a White House retreat in April. Father Prag was the director. His gentleness, spirituality, and kindness was refreshing. I only spent three days in his presence but was able to experience the Jesus in him. He shared a prayer with us that I cherish to this day.

MORNING RECEPTION

I receive this day as gift.

May gratitude and joy accompany...

I always thought of Tom Prag as the Gentle Giant. Tom always had a commanding presence combined with his very gentle nature. He was at the Miguel Pro house in Denver when I was assigned to Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish next soor. I would park in front of is house and then stop by to say hi. Besides Ignation Spirituality he loved to watch that New York cop show, which I can't remember the name right now. The duality of those interests always intrigued me.

Tom, I will always...

Fr. Tom attended St. Stephen's with my sister, Joan Stackle, some years ago. He gave a retreat at the White House Retreat some time ago where he quoted that "In the Providence of God, there is no accident." I have quoted him many times to my staff and patients in our family practice here in Boise, Idaho. His stories of south St. Louis were a walk back through memory lane for my time at St. Stephen's and SLUH. He has gone to his reward as invited. We shall miss him. He was a good gentle...

My deepest sympathies to Fr. Tom's family, friends and Jesuit collagues. Fr. Tom, you were surely, a man of God and a man of prayer. Your holiness was evident in all you did. I am sad at your leaving us, but I know you have God's ear in all of our needs now and you will not forget those who continue the struggle. God bless you, Tom, and may you rest in peace.

My Deepest Sympathies on the loss of Fr. Tom. I was at the White House this weekend as he directed his last retreat.
My take away was that Fr.Tom was ready to meet the Lord. Not that he was tired and ready to go but he had everything in order with his relationship with Jesus. There is no doubt in my mind that on Saturday he went directly to heaven and began interceeding for us. My prayers are with you in this time of loss.
God Bless and thanks Fr. Tom for what I needed this weekend.

My deepest sympathy to Tom's family, friends and Jesuit colleagues. As you all know, Tom was a very special man and a very dedicated priest. He gifted me in many ways for many years. Today we offered Mass for Tom here in Africa, in gratitude for his life and inspiration. I am sure he now interceds for us all.

My sincere sympathy to Father Tom's sister, Doris, and the entire family. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to know Father Tom and to attend one of his retreats at the White House. He was a holy and beautiful human being. May God rest his soul and his memory live on in the lives of all who knew him. I am honored to send a donation to the Jesuits of the Mo Province in honor of Father Tom.

Dearest Tom, my best friend for so many years. Hopefully you got my last letter and pictures to make you smile. I will miss you very much, and your wonderful spirit and your many prayers for me and my family. You will always be in my heart. Your friendship meant everything to me; however, it does not end here. Good bye my friend, I'll see you in Heaven.

Fr. Prag directed a women's retreat and told us he circles around the Sacred Heart statue several times at White House to remind himself to keep God at the center of his life! No more circling needed!! Wishing you His peace,
