Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you all

I did research with Dr Pretlow and his wife while they were at UAB Medical Center. As an undergraduate student at Birmingham-Southern it was an amazing experience for me.

Please accept the most heartfelt sympathies of Le Moyne College. We hope the love and memories that you will forever hold in your heart bring you peace and comfort.

Tom and I were part of a team of 5 universities to apply the new tools of molecular biology to prostate cancer- we had so much fun and even gathered at his home in Florida for a network meeting- the tumor model he and his team developed has helped many by providing new insights into this horrible disease- RIP Tom!

I was very sorry to hear of Dr. Pretlow's passing. My sincere condolences to Dr. Theresa, and to his whole family. When I decided to go back to work in my 50's after years of being a stay-at-home mom, Drs Pretlow hired me on the basis of pure potential and no other relevant experience. I worked there several years and learned more from them than I can list here. They gave me the foundation to go on for my own PhD and years of work at Case. Hopefully knowing that part of Dr. Pretlow lives...

We are deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Thomas G. Pretlow II the Qualified and talented person. We all remember him for his work and achievements. We pray for the repose of his soul.Om shanti

Dear Theresa, sorry about the untimely death of Tom. My heartfelt condolences to you and your children. I admired Tom's social engagement, speaking out publicly about universal healthcare/single payer system and getting involved with Greater Cleveland Congregations. My thoughts are with you.

So very sorry to see this. Our condolences to Theresa and family. I (Jake) worked with Tom and Terry for many years. They were colleagues, mentors, and friends. They were important in my progress as a young faculty member. With love,

Honest and courageous. Committed to social justice. Unafraid to speak the truth to power and those who didn't want to hear it. I'm fortunate our paths crossed. Goodbye, my friend.
