Thomas Henry Puryear

Tom was a real sweetheart who we knew from the California Health Spa back in the 1980's. He would run at Mission Bay Park and finish up by swimming laps at the outdoor pool. Always a kind and gentle soul-rest in peace, Tom.

We knew Tom from our years at the California Health Spa and L.A. Fitness. He was a good swimmer. Every time we met, we exchanged friendly words and sometimes just waves across the pool. We wished each other "Happy New Year 2015." Rest in peace.

I will always remember my Uncle Tom I loved him very much and I still have such fond memories of the huge Thanksgiving meals prepared there as well as Xmas. You will be missed I Love you Tome

Mr. Puryear - He was a good, good man. He was our "insurance man" from the time we got married until he retired. We would go to his office on Morena Blvd, make our payment, have a nice chat, always enjoyable. Or, we'd see him every once in awhile when taking a walk in the neighborhood. So many people cross our paths in a lifetime for so many reasons. He was memorable. Such a nice person. May he rest in peace and our heartfelt condolences to his family.
