Not sure what to say?

Miss you TQ. You were a father figure to me from my teen years and my adfult life. You counseled me like a father figure as well as my pastor at St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Newport News, VA, St Mary Catholic Church in Norfolk, VA. You guided me through some traumatic experiences and never failed to make me laugh for being human! Thank God for placing you in my life and all the many souls of VA that you saved. RIP

Miss you everyday your verve and zest for life and helping everyone in need will be known throughout the ages. Love you. Sleep well.

He was pastor of my church St. Vincent De Paul's Catholic Church in Newport News, VA when I was 14 years old. I am now 71 years old, TQ was like a father and mentor to me up until his passing. To this day I miss him but know deep within my heart that is in Heaven. God Bless All In His Family.

I have a deep and consequential memory about TQ. When I was in the fourth grade, I became one of his juvelie altar servers. It was his duty then to do two things: encourage me to loosen up my attitude because I was full of nervous anxiety, read with purpose and desire, learning more about Jesus Christ, understand my history and providence as a young Black man living in a difficult society, remain Catholic and possibly served my community as a priest. He was as honored me, now as a grown man...

We continue to miss him very much. His teaching and wisdom were unmatched. Love you TQ.

We think of you a remind ourselves of your teachings every day. We miss your wisdom, especially at this time of our turbulent Churchs history. God Bless you TQ.

TQ you are the original "sinners" priest. You saw good in everyone even those who wanted you to stop smoking. I still remember your sermons -- you were a great teacher.

I will never forget the Sunday when you drove down the middle of the church in a Volkswagon! I always had to bring a dictionary to mass on Sunday, though. You certainly increased my vocabulary! You were and still are an inspiration to so many. You are so intelligent and you had a way that made me wonder and ask questions, and to think...you taught us so much and with a passion that only TQ could bring forth. I even remember when you were on the Phil Donahue show! You were an amazing man...

TQ baptized me, I still have the pic. He also gave me my first communion. He will be missed, and there was no other priest that I've known quite like him. He was funny and spiritual, and very much human and understanding at the same time. May he RIP forever in God's unchanging Hand!!! love you TQ, our memories with you are priceless
