Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Tom today so my apologies for the lapse of almost a year. I am very saddened by this news. Tom was my boss from 1988-99 and was undoubtedly the greatest mentor that I ever had. I have so many fond memories of his guidance and I learned so much from him. I will miss him and I will never forget him. I hope his family can take comfort in the fact that he lives on inside of them.

I was shocked to learn of Tom's passing just recently, but still wish to extend my prayers and condolences to his family. Simply put: Tom was a great man. He was in the class ahead of me at Notre Dame . . . but it would be more accurate to say that he was in a class by himself. Always a man of high moral standards and ethical behavior, he also had the grit to make him a great athlete and outstanding businessman yet never missed the opportunity to lend a kind word or needed encouragement....

I'm so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I only met him a few times but I had the privilege early in my career, nearly 20 years ago of introducing him as a speaker for a Boston ACG event. He had agreed to sub for Jay and it was our honor to have him do so. Not only was he a terrific speaker but he was a true gentleman and very down to earth guy. It seems like it's harder and harder to find incredible success and true humility in one person but that was Tom. He will always be remembered fondly...

Tom was a dear friend of my Dad, Lauren Hyde. I didn't find out until my father passed away that Tom was on his baseball team in Clinton IA and that Tom admired him as a coach. They stayed friends for decades and Tom took care of my dad with tickets to Notre Dame games for all those years. The Hyde family is truly sorry for your loss and we hope you find comfort in the many memories you have made.

We shall remember Tom as an enthusiastic businessman , husband and father . He still skied with an instructor ( while using a cane to walk in Everyday life ) after his back injuries - that is determination ! Family love and care kept him going - blessings to the Quinn family from Judy and FL Kirby

My condolences to the Quinn family. I grew up in Clinton and dated his sister Mary during High School years. Tom was an amazing athlete with a great work ethic and a great sense of humor. He had an amazing life.

I grew up down the block from Tom in Clinton, Iowa. He was a true gentleman, a gifted athlete and a great businessman.

Our sincere sympathies and special prayers for Tom, Diane, and all the Quinn's. Misericordia would not be what it is today, without all of Bob's help.
Last Saturday, "Candy Days", people still ask about Fanny Mays Pops. We will never forget our dear "Saint Tom"a real loss to our world!
