I have happy memories of working with Tom at Dover Library at Gardner-Webb. I heard that he worked in a place for the care of elderly people afterwards and I'm sorry I didn't get to hear him talk about his work there. I used to say that Tom coming into the room where I worked in the Library every day between 8 and 9 a.m. was like my first cup of coffee for the day.
