Not sure what to say?

Out of curiosity I did a Google search and regretfully found the obit. I was a fellow Dragon (Adjutant) and last saw Tom in Feb 85, very surprised at his passing, he was a fine commander and remarkable man.

Polly and April,
I am so sorry to hear about your dad. You know he was such a great male influence in my life. All my love to you both.

You will be greatly missed but your legacy lives on through your Children and Grandchildren! Brad and Hee are especially a blessing to my family and I appreciate what good friends they have been over the years. Our prayers are with the Rankin Family during this time of sorrow!

Vaya con Dios, Tom...you will be missed by so many. Sorry we lost touch through the years. My heart goes out to your family.

Those we love remain with us
for love itself lives on
and cherished memories never fade
because the loved one's gone.

Col. Rankin,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USAF-especially during the Vietnam War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Adios, Tom. It was a pleasure working with you at Pueblo High School and TUSD. Tom McCarthy, Bucerias, Mexico
