Not sure what to say?

He was my band teacher from 90-94. I enjoyed having him as a teacher.

My husband and I were deeply saddened to learn of Mr.Reed's passing. He was our band director at Wahama High School in Mason, WV. Mr. Reed was our teacher as well as our friend. Band was a pleasure to be in with him as our director. He made us appreciate music and expected us to play our best. He introduced us to music of the great composers such as Bach and Mozart among others and the marches of John Philip Sosa, who composed some of the greatest military marches known still today. His love...

A flood of memories comes rushing in when thinking of Mr. Reed and Wahama High School Band - he was leader mentor counselor teacher. Whether band camp concerts festivals parades or band practice he made it count. He gave us music and life experiences like no one else. Mrs.Reed and family please find comfort in knowing what he gave to so many of us. It was an honor to know him and his family

Marita, so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Lois and I enjoyed visiting with you at Canaan Valley and at Big Johns. Tom was a great person to be around. His teaching ability was outstanding.

Best band director ever.Wahama High School Class of 1966

What a remarkable teacher. I have a few memories of interactions with high school teachers, administrators, or coaches, and nearly all of them involve Mr. Reed. Many teachers demanded excellence but few had the ability to communicate the "how" of accomplishing. Mr. Reed was the master and a massive influence. His advice became a part of my everyday use and still lean on today.

Marita,
Deepest sympathy to you and your family. Mr. Reed was a gentleman and great band director. It was an honor to get to know him. May God wrap his arms around you and give you comfort at this most difficult time.

My condolences to the family . May you find comfort in your treasured memories and Gods promise to return our loved ones who passed away in death . 1st Thessalonians 4 : 13 & 14 .

Heartfelt condolences to family and friends! I am so sorry for your loss. May God hold you strong in such times and comfort you with his hope! (John 6:40)
