This is Gregg Appel, son of Don. I just spoke to Dad. He remembers Chico very well. He shared that Chico and him went to work each day and threw mail for many, many hours. Dad retired in 1982. He remembers Chico asking, "Don how long you gonna do this, my legs can't take much more of this". On Behalf of my Dad & Mom, Floreine, also LONG time members of Holy Family Parish, their condolences to all of the "Chico" Rivera. Dad was sadden, said Chico was good co-worker & friend.
