Not sure what to say?

He gave me a nickname Salas and now whenever anyone will call me that I will forever think of him he was a great soul and an amazing 3rd grade teacher rest well

I had Mr Robertson in my first grade year, before I got to his class I absolutely 100 percent hated school because of the year I had before, he helped me find my passion for writing and my love for education. I also got my nickname Miller from him witch still sticks will me till this day. Even long after I was in his class I'd still send him stories that I'd write. He changed my life in many ways. His class was always fun and id wake up and be so exited to see him. He helped me find how smart...

He was an incredible individual and an inspiration to all of us. I will miss him deeply.

I am so grateful for the friendship that I shared with Tom. Bailey very much loved her friend too! Some of my best memories are of him coming to spend after school time with our Girl's Club and the girls exclaiming, "Boy alert!" as he came in the room and always being so glad that he was there. He willingly pitched in on whatever project we had going. Tom truly cared about his students and they knew that. Giving his time, his kindness, and always being willing to listen were his gifts and...

Tom was an amazing teacher and friend. His love of nature and all it's creatures except squirrels , which I share with him. Tom made everyone feel special and when not putting plastic cockroaches in every thing in our classroom, volunteered to help anyone anytime. His smile was infectious and how he connected with students legendary.I became a teacher after being inspired by Tom and others from the Bates bunch showed me teaching was about relationship first and the learning will happen through...

Tom, you will definitely and truly be missed. I will remember our many talks about students, education, sports and life in general. Thank you for enhancing my life by being in it.

A prankster for sure! I just found a frog taped under one of my posters outside of my room this spring, and I'm sure there are still plastic cockroaches somewhere! He was a inspirational teammate. He truly loved his students! He always took the extra time to listen to them and give them support for things going on in their lives! Sending prayers to your family.
