He also received Civilian Employee of the Year in 2013 and Reserve Deputy of the Year in 2014 from the Lexington County Sheriff's Foundation.
Tom proudly volunteered on various committees and boards during his lifetime, to include, the Lexington County Sheriff's Foundation, Lexington Medical Center Patient Care Advocate, and Lexington Villa Home Owner's Association. Tom dedicated his life to serving others, being a peacemaker and a light to those in need. His jovial, caring spirit made him a friend to all.
