I knew Tom from my days in the DAs office. Both Cohoes guys. Tom always looked out for me in that way. One of the finest detectives and finest human beings I've ever had the honor of working with. Even after he retired, he would give me encouraging words, a true professional to the end. Words can't do him justice. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the Ross Family. Our careers paralleled each others over the years. He was truly one of "the GOOD GUYs " He was an outstanding example of what a good police officer and police command officer should be.
