Not sure what to say?

It is very sad to learn that Mr. Rountree has passed away. I had the priviledge of being his secretary/translator while he was with Baxter/Travenol in Valencia (Spain) and he always acted as an extremely inteligent person who treated others with great respect and had the hability to make difficult issues simple and easy because he was extremely honest. I learned a lot from him and he has always been a guide.
My sincere condolences to his family.

Donna, please accept my condolences. It was a pleasure to work with both you and Dekle in the Artificial Organs Division at Baxter. Dekle's character and integrity will long be remembered by many of us.

Dekle was willing to give a young woman with no business background an opportunity to move from a University/government setting into the private sector. Then, he had the wisdom to mentor her so she would succeed. I will be forever grateful to Dekle's generosity of spirit, seering insights, and gift of mentoring.

My deepest condolences to Donna and their family. I worked for Dekle as an executive secretary at the then Ohio Medical Products in Madison, Wisconsin and very much enjoyed working with him and talking to Donna.

While working at AcroMed, I had the opportunity to travel to the Pacific Rim with Dekle. Even though he was the CEO, he treated me as an equal and asked my opinion on important matters. He led AcroMed through some of its most difficult times and more importantly treated everyone fairly and honestly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

I had the privilege of working with Dekle, especially when he had responsibility for Baxter's operations in Puerto Rico. I admired his management and personal styles, and will always be grateful for his guidance and support.

Dekle, you gave me my first career start at Baxter in 1976. For that and your support during some very difficult times in Puerto Rico, I thank you. You will always be in my heart.

I never met a man with higher principles.....he taught me much when we worked together in the Renal Division at Baxter.........I am very saddened at his passing.....
