I am saddened to learn that such a wonderful soul has passed and to have missed his tribute. Tommy Russo will always be my Chief. His dedication to the members of the Montclair Police Department was absolute. His love and pride for his heritage and family always shone through, as his ready smile. I am a better person and feel blessed to have been part of his life.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

I very much regret being unable to attend Chief Russo´s Wake or Funeral Mass: I will certainly remember him at Mass, with deep respect for his service to the Montclair community. I recall his frequent presence at Immaculate Conception during my years as Pastor there. My sincere condolences to Imelda and all Tom´s family; may he rest in the Lord´s peace.
