Not sure what to say?

I grew up on Staten Island. Recently saw an address with the same street (avenue) where Tom lived. It got me thinking of him and did a Google search only to find his obituary. Not what I was hoping to see.
There were not a lot of boys in school that I enjoyed being around. Tom was one of the exceptions. He was just so kind, funny and yes- always with a smile. Always. I’m really sad to hear about his passing. It’s just something that will never make sense.
I remember walking across...

Thinking of you...

I first met Tommy when he arrived at Hmm-262. Man I wish I could remember the date, He was assigned to work with my corrosion control team for a short while, it was truly an honor and privilage for me to have know worked with him. I am lucky to call him friend! Miss you "grandpa"

To the family and friends of Cpl. Thomas E. Saba:
It has truly been my honor to sign Thomas' guest book these past few years. Unfortunately, due to complications from my Multiple Sclerosis, this may be the last message I'm able to write. Please forgive me and know that Thomas will always be remembered in my home.
With love and respect ~ Peggy

My deepest condolences and appreciation. Cpl. Thomas Saba will always be recognized as a true Marine and the elite of this nation. I never had the opportunity to meet him, though I shall never forget his sacrifice and act of valor. Semper Fidelis

Fear that which walks the night
And I am that which walks the night
And gentle souls sleep safe in their beds
For I walk the night"
