My sincere condolences to the family. I met him a few times on Nightigale street when he would visit his brother Richie. I was invited to his home in Holiday when his nieces came down for a visit and I was in college. And yes he was a very welcoming gentleman. May he rest in everlasting peace.

We are deeply saddeded to hear of Tom's passing. Condolences to you and your entire family during this difficult time. Love Carol & Dana

We all loved Tom- wonderful, wonderful Tom- his joy, his laughter, his jokes, his wit, his gift of telling a story. It was a blessing to be his friend, family. We will always dearly miss him! We will miss his, "Hello, girls!"and "Hello, Dora!" every time we met him outside to walk Dora. He will always have a special place in our hearts. May his memory be eternal! May his memory be a blessing!

We'll miss you Tom. Tom was a wonderful & sweet neighbor, but most of all, a dear warm caring friend. May his Memory Be Eternal.

I always enjoyed talking with Tom and Ritchie during our annual P.S. 39 old timers softball reunions. We talked about growing up in South Beach and I admired how Tom would come up from Florida to be with us. I often reminded him how when I was young he and his friends with let us play on their side during a touch tackle or softball game. To me Tom trepresented what South Beach was all about. Sincere condolences to Richard and the entire s Salerno family. RIP Tom. Anthony Ruggiero
